We are looking for a Site Manager for SchermNed, an ambitious, technical family business. Whether you are a junior site manager, an experienced fitter looking to take the next step, or already have extensive experience as a site manager: there are plenty of opportunities to develop yourself further. <\/p>\n

As a Site Manager, you are the connecting link between the fitters, clients, and the office staff. You will be found both in the office and on-site. You will maintain contact with the planner, monitor the overview, supervise fitters, and ensure that everything regarding the execution runs smoothly. In doing so, you will maintain keen supervision over quality and safety. <\/p>\n

Are you new to this role? Then you will be guided step by step. Do you already have experience? Then you will be given the space and trust to start working independently straight away. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What will you be doing?<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Technical surveying and preparation of projects;<\/li>\n
  • Directing and supervising the installation team on-site;<\/li>\n
  • Monitoring progress, quality, and safety;<\/li>\n
  • Consulting with clients, team leaders, and the field service;<\/li>\n
  • Identifying bottlenecks in a timely manner and contributing to solutions;<\/li>\n
  • Maintaining administration regarding procurement, planning, and execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    A practical example
    On Monday morning, you drive to Drenthe to oversee the start-up of a smaller project. Everything is running well, so you give the office a quick call to prepare materials for tomorrow’s job. On Tuesday, you visit a larger project closer to home. And Thursday? Then you dive into the technical preparation of an international project. Next week, you will fly there to measure screen installations and\/or insect netting systems and discuss the project on-site. <\/p>\n

    No two weeks are the same!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    • You have technical insight and communicate easily with colleagues and clients;<\/li>\n
    • You can work independently, but also function well within a team;<\/li>\n
    • You are flexible, practical, and solution-oriented;<\/li>\n
    • You have an eye for detail and know how to maintain a good overview;<\/li>\n
    • You hold a category B driving licence, as cycling to Drenthe is quite a distance;<\/li>\n
    • You live in the Westland region or the surrounding area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
