Role
Your role as Transport Planner
As a Transport Planner, you play a vital role in the efficient management of our transport activities. You are responsible for planning and optimising routes, coordinating transport, and monitoring the progress of shipments. Our goal is to transport more with fewer movements. Therefore, you will seek additional loads where required and ensure that we do not cover unnecessary distances. You will work closely with various internal teams and external partners to ensure our transport operations run flawlessly.
You will:
- Plan and monitor transport within the Netherlands
- Optimise routes and loading
- Communicate with drivers and customers regarding trips and changes
- Resolve operational challenges
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the planning process
Requirements
What do we expect from you?
- You have experience in (transport) planning or a similar role
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English
- You possess organisational talent and are resistant to stress
- You are a problem-solver who can handle changing situations effectively
- You have a passion for logistics and transport
- A customer-oriented mindset – you ensure an optimal customer experience
