Organisation
Build with Interco | Path to Partnership
Interco specialises in developing innovative, custom plant containers for the potted plant sector. No two containers are the same: every solution is tailored to the client’s needs. From De Lier, Interco has been collaborating with clients, suppliers, and production partners for over 30 years. Their strength lies in a personal approach, clear communication, and the ability to work together to find the best solution.
Due to Interco’s continued growth and professionalisation, there is an opportunity for an ambitious professional who wishes to grow with the organisation. In this role, you will get to know Interco inside and out: from clients and products to processes, suppliers, and production partners. As you grow, you will gain increasing responsibility and the scope to contribute to Interco’s future.
Role
About the Role
As a Sales & Operations Manager, you will be involved in the entire process: from the initial client request to the delivery of the final product. You will liaise daily between clients, suppliers, production partners, and internal processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and seamlessly. You will combine commercial acumen with operational expertise and actively contribute ideas on how processes can be made smarter, more efficient, and future-proof.
Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and expanding sustainable client relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Guiding projects, connecting clients, mould makers, suppliers, and production partners.
- Coordinating daily operations, including transport planning, inventory management, packaging, certifications, and quality control.
- Monitoring progress, planning, and quality throughout the entire process.
- You will contribute to Interco’s further digitalisation and investigate how new systems and AI can contribute to more efficient processes.
You will work closely with the owner and three colleagues. Due to the clear communication channels, you will be given significant responsibility, contribute to important decisions, and have a direct impact on Interco’s further development.
